Guest guest
I have not tried Canola (rapeseed) sprouts. And with any luck I never will! To each his own I guess; but *ew*. I hope I never get that hungry. Of course I am old and grew up before Canola or GMO. Ann. >First of all, I never even heard of Canola Sprouts. Guest guest
It's also a type of mustard, so rapeseed and broccoli rabe, and all of the other cruciferous vegetables all are in the same general plant family. I'm sure that they would be okay to sprout but getting seed that hasn't been adulterated by Monsanto's rape might be difficult. (That was a deliberate choice of wording by the way.) How can you be sure that it's organic, genetically pure seed? Lee > First of all, I never even heard of Canola Sprouts. I thought Canola oil was some oil that someone named Canola. Guest guest
I had canola seeds in a sprout mix I bought once. Because it was a mix, I'm not sure, but I think the canolas came out very small and mild tasting. A lot of them got wasted because they rinsed away with my rinse water, as they were so small, compared to the other sprouts. While reading about Canola (don't know if it's seeds or whatever), it is a BIG industry (millions of tons of it). But I'm not sure if it's something I want to sprout. Have any of you done this and what do they taste like? Thanks much And oh, by the way, the Verizon guy came yesterday, gave me all NEW wiring, NEW jacks, separated my dsl from the phone (so I don't need filters on the phone), and I AM getting clearer reception on the phone but if you think (after 5 visits), that I trust thing thing to keep giving me a solid green light, well forget it.
