The ocd teens list? I hope it is Ok for me to read there, it might

gives me insights about how my 14 yo daughter might feel. Alot of

posts remind me of my daughter. But I also find it kind of

discouraging- many of these teens are now receiving or have received

treatment and meds, and yet they sound as if they continue to be

seriously plagued by anxiety, ocd etc. Is it b/c the teen years are

so difficult anyways? I wonder if it would be discouraging for my

daughter to read or post there.

going thru a hard time right now.She is on meds and our counselor has

implemented a variety of cognitive, behavioral and rogerian therapys. Her main

problem is going to school-half the time she doesn`t!Let`s cross our fingers for

a better new year!

Hi Grace,

I joined the teens list quite a while back and later quit. I had

also thought it might give me some insight into , plus at that

time wondered if he might want to read some. But those kids were WAY

far more mature than (who I consider immature for his age,

along with twin) and so I just kept reading for a while and then

quit. For us, none of the things they were going thru applied to

at that time. It was discouraging, but they're so lucky to

have a group to talk to as we do!
