Guest guest
Oh, yeah, I rarely have bowel problems this far out as I have learned how to eat to avoid accidents, but I do keep Depends on hand. I am a cancer survivor and have had some issues that pre-date the DS. The urgency associated with loose stools made my personal situation worse. My meticulous eating habits probably did influence how low my weight has gotten, so it is probably a good thing, not a bad thing. My cancer-related problem is that I cannot tell the difference between stool and gas. You can see where that would be a problem! During the day, while I am awake and aware, it is really not an issue. It is at night that danger sets in. Alas! This can also be a problem if you acquire certain intestinal infections. So, don't be afraid to come to us or especially, to your PCP for help if you have a problem. There are answers. For example, I had a corrective surgery that helped lessen my situation. Marta who avoided cheese puffs for several years!
