Just wanted to let you all know that moms struggle is almost over. Mom was diaganosed with Lewy Body in Jan 2002. I found this group early on and it was a godsend to me. Mom fell and broke her hip the following September and was puto into a nursing home/rehab for three weeks before they discharged her. I will continue to check in with the group and most likely in the coming days for your continued support. I havent kept up too well on all of you but wish my old and new friends and loved ones my best and will always in some way continue this fight in some way. Love and prayers to everyone , Shirley **************************************************************** Shirley's mom, Marie, left the NH yesterday as her last wish was to be at her own home. Marie passed away this afternoon, at her home. Shirley called me and asked that I inform the group of her mom's passing. Please continue to keep Shirley, her dad, and the family in your prayers. My prayers go out to Shirley and to all her loved ones - mostly I'm just glad they don't have to watch their mom or wife suffer any longer. It is always such a shock when one of us loses a LO, even though we know it is coming. Please pass on to Shirley that I am thinking of her and sending her lots of love.
