Guest guest
In my experience, yes. My kitchen is a little cooler in Winter, so the sprouting of the little tails has been taking a little longer than usual. I am sure it didn't help that I left the window open for the cat to get some air yesterday for about an hour. 3 days ago I soaked fenugreek and it was only yesterday that the little tails started showing. Tonight, I just saw that they are looking great and we will most likely start eating them tomorrow. We grow and eat them from tail stage to leafy (if they last that long). I get nervous when my supply of fenugreek starts getting low because of how much we like them. n
Guest guest
soak and rinse every 12 hours -you should see small tails within a day or 2. Fenugreek usually sprouts very quickly. Have now had a 12-hour rinsing cycle, but still can't really see any action on the sprouts (no little tails, etc) - Is this normal? Guest guest
Thanks! My house stays between 60 and 70 degrees. Not constant, since I " m off the grid and use a wood stove - have radiant floor heating that I keep at 60, downstairs. Wood stove makes up the difference. Plus the well water is cooler than I remember traditional city water being (from when I lived in Florida until the fall/winter of 2008) Pam > In my experience, yes. Guest guest
Hi, been sprouting fenugreek for 2 years. What I find interesting about fenugreek is that I can pick from my trays in all stages of sprouting. If I want a crunchier sprout I might grab a handful on day 3 or 4. If I want long sprouts with little leaves at the end, I do if for 7 days. It's amazing how versatile these little seeds are.
