Hey, I did catch a 47 lb flathead catfish once. Must be some thing about the 47, because caught a 47 1/2 lb sea bass once also. Hummmmmm!!!!

It is still crazy around this place, getting crazier every day. My daughters wedding is saturday, the house is overflowing with people, they are still making and adjusting dresses and all that stuff. The wedding is to be an outdoor wedding, hummmmm, I wonder if that will make it RAIN???

How am I to survive all of this without a good stiff drink??????

I have been thinking of possibly giving away the wife as well as giving away my daughter. A package deal yes?

I live just above Wilkes-Barre, but I am originally from Exeter, about 6 miles from where I live now. I used to average 125 to 160 days a year on the river. I loved getting suspended from school so I could go fishing!

Wilkes-Barre is about 90 miles north of burg.

I am also a catch and release fisherman. I take pictures of the good ones.

I do not eat fish all that often, and I refuse to cook them, as I can't stand the smell. Besides, with all of the Wheaties in my cupboard, and the thought of a steak or some pasta, I can't even think of eating fish.

Kirk,

My father and my son used to catch and eat catfish all the time. They said they were very good. I'm not a fish eater and I don't know if I would eat a catfish if it was served to me but I have seen them on menus in restaurants. We have Sturgeons in our lake which my son would really like to land. And then release. He's a catch and release fisherman.
