Jan, I know that you are relieved that Jim did not suffer

inordinately at the hands of the incompetence, however, it is

possible that he will be there again. I had all the bad drugs listed

on Dad's charts and records as allergies. They were quite careful. I

would also have raised hell with the hospital...the doctor's superior

and anyone else I could find. There is no excuse for that kind of

treatment...and it could be a lot more serious next time. What

happened to the Hypocratic oath....about doing no harm? Anyway, I

know you have been through the wringer, but don't let that doctor off

the hook....the next person may not be as lucky as you and Jim were.

(in your spare time you can write letters and make phone calls...:-)

Glad you're back to normal..whatever that is.
