Jo, you know how we were talking about gum disease problems. Well I was just

reading an article by a doc and he said Niacin in doses up to 3 grams a day,

a gram after each meal has been seen to totally eliminate gum disease

problems in a matter of weeks. He also says it can normalize LDL cholesterol

levels, drop triglyceride levels and increase beneficial HDL cholesterol, clear

up

chronic skin conditions and dramatically improve all types of cardiovascular

problems. He also said that the studies suggest that if these higher doses

were taken before the onset of cardiovascular disease the problem could be

prevented in a large majority of cares and the progression of the disease

halted

where it is already present.

The gum disease part caught my attention, then I read on. It sounds good,

and not like it would hurt a person. My cholesterol is not a problem, but I

doesn't sound like, at my age it would hurt to do what I can for my heart.

I have not seen or heard from Herb, so guess he is a lost cause. Oh well....

I did what I could.

What have you been up to? Hope you had a good Christmas and the New Year is

off to a good start for you. I am still busy with three times a week therapy

on my arm, and will be for another six weeks. I am doing as well or better

than I should at this stage. Just takes time to heal and work to get the us of

it back. They say that may take up to two years for full use, so I am not

expecting and overnight miracle. I am not in the pain I was at least. That is

until my therapist gets hold of me. LOL

Later, Pearl
