" These " people who are making decisions regarding the very fabric of our lives, our futures, and they are so blaise' about it, yes, like they are talking about a hairdressers appointment. In my case, yeah, you've done this and that, been the heart and soul and organiser for 19 years but now we have younger, brighter blood and you are nearing your use by date so you can now sit in that corner and take staples out of someone elses paper-work. In yours, don't worry about pre op nerves, a family to organise, etc. we will just place you on hold indefinately. Like I keep saying, WHO ARE THESE BLOODY PEOPLE, more important to me is how do they get this power, this right of passage, and what makes them think they are insulated from it all? Morals and principles have long gone, caring and understanding non existant. Respect and gratitude,did they ever exist or are they empty words? I hate humanity at this very moment. The sad thing is today I thought about my work place of 19 years and decided after all that time there is not one single person there who I can rely on or trust. How pathetic. I really don't think I want to be there any more. Goodness knows how I'll manage financially but right now my total disgust is a more demanding a concern.
