Yea, a year ago I was so excited...dreading it , and feeling great.

I am still fighting the insurance. I will not go quietly into the

nite.

I am still looking at another surgery to fix the one leg....but

waiting till Doc K gets out patient options, as I cant afford another

DRMC hospital stay. The last one was over 15k....no wonder the

insurance doesnt want to pay.

I wore a pair of loose leg pants last nite to a party....very

stylish, but alas the one leg was tighter than the other , and when I

walked they both swung like crazy....sigh.

thats why my pants are usually snug,...to prevent the swing. I wear

a long line girdle with dresses, but dont like the indentation that

shows with pants....

Its always something tho- lol

its always something...sigh....

Thanks for thinking of me...(said in my best Eeyore voice....)

love you,

Sharon in Onyx

who cant seem to lose an ounce...but is walking 3 miles a night, 3x a

week, up hills....

and nothing....

Hi Sharon! Boy, can I sympathize with exercising and not losing

weight! But, let me give you a hint, sweetie. If you want to get

your thighs to go down, do NOT walk uphill. It actually will make

your thighs and butt bigger. (With muscle, but nonetheless...) I

read that a little while ago and immediately stopped using the

incline on my treadmill. Supposedly, walking faster on a flat

surface is what people like you and I want. Of course, next month

they'll be saying something else. :)

Love you,

Tracey

Thanks Jo,

After so many real successes I felt a little funny sharing my " not so

quite " success. Now, before you all start in on me.....

I just wanted to be thin, really thin, for once in my life. But I

have really tried to accept that this is what I get, and want others

to know that not everyone ends up a size 6, and that it isnt their

fault. I havent seen the story yet, but I do hope that it was

conveyed that way.

I know I have shared with all of you how happy I am and that I am

doing things a normal person would do and that is the real success.

But there is still that skinny personna that I would like to feel.

Just once....Especially now that I am battling weight gain.

I know to get that satisfied feeling I will have to have more, much

more skin removed from my legs, and I am not ready to deal with that

yet- pain wise, or financially.

So until then, What you see is what you get.lol.

I have to go down to the mail now and face the fact that I did

actually do it! LOL

Big Hugs until Tues

I'm not going to Jump on you...I understand your disappointment in

not losing more weight. I understand your frustration and TERROR

with any weight regain. BUT....You ARE a REAL success story. I

know you don't quite feel that way...and that is why I'm so PROUD of

you for standing up and telling your story. Why I am sure you are

helping others with your story.

Yep it is the dreaded 10-15 lb regain. My problem is I never lost

down to the 157 I had set my goal on. I lost down to 188 for a

milisecond, but mostly settled at 192. I have gained 10 lbs and cant

seem to shake it.

Not good......

Hey, wish I had thought of that! Tracey makes an excellent point for

everyone. I have patients refuse to weigh on a nearly daily basis.

Now, usually they are MO. lol Just go!
