Guest guest
Hi Dann- Actually I collect clown, Emmett Jr. clowns. Only since my dad passed away did the ladybugs start playing into a collection of mine and they seem to collect me instead of visa versa. I do have a couple of really nice ones. One came as far as Johannesburg, Africa. The other came from a local jewelry store, my son bought it for me. I guess now I have a collection of 6 that I carry with me everywhere...whoa! Um, thanks for mentioning the steel ladybug sculpture - it sounds um, BIG. Good to hear from you. Hoping all is well in your roping neck of the woods :-)) Sandie -- Re: Sunshine Sandie Sandie, The ladies a couple miles NOrth of me have a Lady Bug Cottage. Collector kinds of Lady Bugs. Every where. I had thoughts of making them a lady bug sculture out of <scrap> steel. But on our farm, no ceramic, or other than living lady bugs here, and I am NOT telling anyone what my favorite critter to collect is <grins> (note the singular). I read one of those Erma Bombeck kind of witty newspaper columns once about being careful about collecting. Frogs, Donkeys, Dalmations, or Lady Bugs, .... what ever your temporary attraction can go ballistic, and soon you have hundreds or thousands of varients that dominate your home. You can't throw them away, because each one of your friends will remember which critter that they gave you, and with critters beyond counting.. you can't remember who gave what. Soon, there is NO WAY to stop the on slaught of more. More. M O R E ! <grin - s> So if you want, I could finish my lady bug iron sculpture.... They are all over her house. You find them in every nook and crany. Wherever you look. She is my Lady Bug friend. It is never hard to find her a gift. So when you said you were getting Lady Bug tattoes in honor of your mom and dad, it reminded me of her. That is a wonderful way for you to honor your dad's birthday. I think my friend had sent that gift to someone that you saw with the Lady Bug on it. LOL Lady Bugs forever!.............Jan __________________________________________________
