Guest guest
Hi Kari, The rishi tea website seems very good. Thankyou for this websiite http://www.rishi-tea.com/store/mfgdetail.asp?MFG=Pu%2Derh+Tea & Category=Tea I have a question about the names of the teas that you mentioned below in your email because I would like to buy teas that have least amount of fluoride as well so I want to order the right teas online on rishi website. Are the names that you mentioned in the email below are of the following teas :- Ancient Pu-erh Maiden and/or Wild Tree Mini-Tuo Cha (Pu-Erh tea) Jasmine Silver Needle and/or Silver Needle (white tea) Wuyi Oolong (white tea) Please clearify the names of the teas that you got tested for least amount of fluoride in them. Thankyou very much. Pankaj kt wrote: Hi, I had several of my organic teas tested and they contained fluoride much to my dismay, many were packaged in paper . The tea we found that had little or no fluoride were Rishi brand Wild Pu-ehr Maiden, organic Silver needle, Wayu Oolong teas. I just had my own personal teas purchased from Whole foods tested. It was explained to me that teas packaged in paper can absorb Fluoride from the paper packaging.. Also the tea tips and younger leaves have little or no fluoride. I still believe organic teas are better but just because something is organically grown does not mean by that it is totally free of chemicals. In the environment we live in this day and age it is very difficult if near impossible to find pure foods ....... but the more unprocessed and natural the better. I also believe that since we brew a much weaker tea in Kombucha that benefits of Kombucha outweigh the minute amounts of fluoride it may contain.
