surgery date

At last... at last. I have my surgery date set. It is for Oct. 18th. Barring

any problems with labs or anything like that, which I don't forsee any

problems with, I will finally have this hernia fixed and the panni removed. I am

so stoked. It will be one year from the time it was originally scheduled for,

but so what. If it finally gets done that is all I care about. I am really

looking forward to having this mass removed that is hanging . I have felt for

Elle and her posting. Mine is not causing my leg to go numb or that sort of

thing. Just the problem keeping it clean and dry and not smelly. You all know

that problem. Summer is coming to an end and I won't have a problem wearing the

binder. At least not like in summer. Now I need to start my protein loading

I know. Anything else I need to do? Tell me, one and all. I am ready and I

need all the info I can get. I want to go into that operating room in the best

shape possible. At my age I need to do all I can. I have a positive outlook.

I plan on at least 20 more years of being around, so I want them to be the

best. I am down about 145 pounds now. I am about where I want to be really. I

don't want to be skinny. Just nice and normal, and by the time he removes that

hangy mass, I will be happy. Of course when I get rid of the bat wings and

hanging boobs next year, even better. I am not so much interested in the

looks, though I would be lying if I said I didn't care, but mostly I want to be

healthy and comfortable. Cleaning this hanging mess is hard and that is why I

want it off. Some people think I am nuts to go through major surgery at my age,

but I still have a lot of living to do, and I intend to. I am just so happy

about finally having a date set.

I know that you will be blessed by this surgery and that you will do all that

you can to heal as easily and effortlessly as possible. As they say, walk walk

walk; sip sip sip.

Blessings,

Have faith. You must think you are not forgotten, that something is happening

for you. That we hold you in the palm of our hand, will not falter, nor will we

ever let you go.
