Renie,

I use Caltrate 600-D chewables.  Dee at Dr. K's office recommended them to me.

I like them because I can carry them with me in my purse, or keep them at my

desk in the classroom.  Don't need water to take them, and they taste almost

like a Sweet Tart candy.  They also do not have a chalky after taste.

Hope Daryl is feeling well and learning to live with his new plumbing.  How is

he doing?

Again, I am new to all of this - so, please be bear with me. I have

read through the notebook and as instructed I am taking 1200 MG of

Calcium daily and a multi vitamin. Here is my question. These pills

are hard enough to get down when I can drink plenty of water with them -

how am I suppose to get them down after the surgery when I am only

able to " sip " water all day? Right now I am taking two calcium

capsules (600MG each) daily - but they are big pills. I can't imagine

being able to get them down with just a " sip " of water.
