Guest guest
I am really curious about this " contraption " that you had measured your bone density. I have had two bone scans in the last few years where one lays on a table like an exam table and this machine moves about you up and down and all bones are measured. You said something about your heels on a some object on the floor. May you had a different kind?
Guest guest
: Yep I just placed my heal in a portable machine. It's called a Pixi Bone Density. What you have probably had is a DEXA (which I believe is a better more accurate screen). The Pixi is good to let you know if you should pursue further medical care for Osteoporosis. If you follow the link below then scroll down the page you will see a photo of what the machine basically looked like. https://www.harvardpilgrim.org/pls/portal/docs/PAGE/PROVIDERS/PATIENT/ HANDOUTS/BMD%20TESTING.PDF Hugs Jo ============================= Waters wrote: > > I am really curious about this " contraption " that you had measured your bone density.
