Good Morning Steve, Yes you did hear right that the Advanced Live is

shorter than the GR ones. I believe the workout is about 50

minutes. It's got some awesome floorwork in it, but the cardio is

quite a bit easier than other advanced tapes. I know what you mean

about stepping it up a notch w/ workouts. I added an 8-minute

workout to the basic for a few weeks (or more) before I felt

confident to attempt an advanced. A lot of people do it that way and

it makes it much easier when the time comes to try an advanced.

Those 8-minute workouts are killers. Yes, I have done them back-to-

back before for a workout also. A LOT of the people on the list have

every one of the tae-bo videos. I am one :) The only one I don't

have is the inspirational becuz I didn't feel it was necessary to

have that one since I hav the tbtv workout that it came from. I

bought the basic set in one big clump and I subscribed monthy to my

advanced tapes. The monthly subscription is an awesome way to go cuz

it's so cool to get a new video monthly. You are doing so great w/

tae-bo and I enjoy reading your posts. Keep up the great work!

Steve,

Questions, Questions, Questions.....LOL! Just kidding! I like it

when new people ask questions :) Okay, I am in the Live advanced

workout (I'm in the basic one, too....I'll send you an email telling

you where I am) and it's a little bit shorter because a part of it

was edited out. There was a girl in front of me who literally sat

down on the floor at one point to stop herself from

peeing....lol...yes, that is a true story! She kind of crossed her

legs and sat down on the floor (I guess she had a really weak bladder

or something and had to sit down) so obviously they had to edit that

part out..LOL! I think it ends up being somewhere around like 53

minutes or something? I haven't done that tape for awhile and quite

honestly don't think it's all that easy....lol! But, I would have to

agree that in terms of intensity, it's probably less intense than the

Get Ripped workouts! One of the reasons is that it has floorwork in

the middle of the workout. So, you go down to the floor and do

floorwork for about, I don't know 20 minutes or so and then get back

up for a little more cardio! It's a good tape to transition yourself

from the basics to the advanced! The basic in the 4 set is also one

of the harder basics, it's almost like a mini-advanced...so that will

also get you ready for the advanced workouts! The thing to remember

is that there is no reason an advanced workout should kill you...lol!

I mean, there is nothing wrong with doing what you can of

it...meaning don't feel bad if you have to walk it out through

different parts. Do one set and walk it out a set...then try to jump

back into it! I walked it out TONS when I first started with the

advanced and still to this day (2 1/2 years later and as a certified

Tae-Bo Instructor) there are still times when I walk it out during a

workout! Or if you feel the double time is too fast for you, slow it

down to single time! Make the workout your own and do what you can

and eventually you will be able to get through the whole thing :)

> It will also be nice to have a second 8-minute workout? Anyone

combine

> two 8-minute workouts for a high intensity, yet shorter workout?

That

> might be something I try.

Yes, putting the 2-8 minute workouts together is fun! Another idea

for the 8 minutes is to add them on to the end of a basic for a nice

45 minute workout! I made a tape of all 4- 8 minute workouts

together (the original studio 8 minute, the Live 8 minute, the Get

Ripped 8 minute and the new Live Volume 2 8 minute) and let me tell

you....that is one TOUGH workout! I had to stop several times during

that one....LOL!

> Did you guys purchase all twelve at once or

> have them come monthly?

I got the Live tapes monthly because they hadn't come out yet, so

that was the only option! It is so much fun getting a new tape every

month! If I was you, I'd do it that way because it gives you a chance

to do your new tape for a few weeks and just when you are starting to

get bored or want a new tape...one shows up in the mailbox :)

> What is the most Tae Bo videos anyone has here? I'd like to hear

some

> of the numbers! :-)

Gosh, I have no idea how many Tae-Bo videos I have...LOL! I probably

should go through and count them all! I do know that I have every

workout that's ever been put out, though...so I am quite the

junkie...lol! Let's see, there's the original studio 4 pack

(instructional, basic, advanced and 8 minute), then the Live 4 pack

(instructional, basic, advanced and 8 minute), 12 basic Live, 12

advanced Live, all the Tae-Bo TV workouts (24 Basics and 24

Advanced), Tae-Bo Junior, Tae-Bo Gold, the 2 tape Impact set (intro

and the Impact workout), the Malibu Naturals Tae-Bo workout, Abs and

Glutes, the Get Ripped Series...(2 basics, 2 advanced, 8 minute and

Impact Intro...although the basics and advanced are really just

repeats of the TB TV workouts), Tae-Bo Inspirtional, the Live Volume

2-8 minute workout......and I think that's it (but I may have

forgotten something...LOL) So, let's see..how many is that? I

counted 89 (actually...it's only 88 because I counted the

Inspirational workout and that's really a TB TV workout....lol)!

Holy Heck, that's insane!!!! Oh, and it isn't me that has the

spreadsheet...I think that was Darcy....LOL!

> Now I have a question on the old TV workouts. I know you all told

me

> the Get Ripped series is the old TV workouts, but were there more TV

> workouts that never made it to video that only a select number of

people

> have out there who recorded from pay per view?

Yes, there were 24 basic Tae-Bo Tv's and 24 Advanced Tae-Bo Tv's. 3

of those basics have been released as other workouts (Tae-Bo

Inspirational, and the two Get Ripped Basics) and two of the advanced

have been released as the Get Ripped Advanced workouts. Other than

that.....you can only get them if you were lucky enough to have pay

per view and taped them yourself!

> Any ideas on what will come next for Tae Bo? An extension to the

Get

> Ripped series? Or a new series?

I'm not sure what's next for Tae-Bo! But, I'm sure that will do

something new and exciting :) We can only hope! I sure do miss

getting new workouts all the time (although, I certainly don't NEED

any more workouts...LOL)! I could work out for 3 months straight and

never do the same workout! Haha!

Oops, I forgot about the New Advanced Live Volumes 1-3 and the New

Basic Live Volume 1 (thanks for reminding me Kerri with your post

about the old tapes...lol)....so that's 92 workouts! OMG.....I need

help! Is there a place you can go for Tae-Bo addiction? LOL!

Steve, just in case you are wondering what we mean by 'old' and 'new'

workouts.....for some reason that nobody knows.....Advanced Live

Volumes 1-3 were re-released as new videos, as was Basic Volume 1.

So, there is an 'old' Basic Live Volume 1 and an 'old' advanced

volumes 1, 2 and 3 that you can't get unless you find them on Ebay or

something! When you order the tapes now, you get the 'new' versions!

OMG, I knew they edited that tape, but I didn't know the reason!!!! That is

too funny!! Out of curiosity, which girl is it? ;) I had to pee during one of

the live workouts at the WTC, but was too afraid if I left, I wouldn't want

to start back up again. LOL

Too much information, huh? Oh. ;)

,

LOL..yeah, too much information...haha! Actually, I know what you

mean, though! It's hard to leave a workout to pee and then come back

and get started again! Usually, I'm sweating so much in the WTC that

I never have to pee...lmao!

Okay, I was just looking at the Advanced workout to see which one it

was and actually they don't edit that part out...LOL! I thought for

sure that's why it was edited, but they didn't cut that part

out...although I can't believe I never noticed it before...haha!

It's the girl who is a row or two up from me. She's wearing a white

baggy sleeveless tank top and black capri workout pants and she has

shoulder length blond hair. After the floorwork, when we get back

up...it's during the move where we do squat, step and the do a double

roundhouse kick. You can see her cross her legs and sit right down

on the floor...lol! Then, they switch to the other side and when

they come back to the whole class..she's gone! I wish I knew what

they edited out...lol! Because I'm pretty sure that workout was a

full hour when we did it! It was actually a REALLY tough workout in

person...if you look at the class, there are LOTS of people who are

just totally beat at the end (me being one of them....LOL)! There's

another girl in front of me (black tank top, black workout pants,

yellow wrist wraps, chin length blonde hair...she's kind of

diagonally in front of me) who walked off shortly before the other

girl sat down...lol...because she was so tired! Anyway, you can tell

at the end of that tape when we are FINALLY cooling down that I am

totally wiped out and I remember that the workout was very

tough....could have been the heat, too that was making it seem a lot

harder, too!

Do you have Kiss the Girls? That is a good movie! Oddly enough, I saw it

I don't have it Jenni, thanks for the info, I will most-certainly

have to be on a hunt for it now :) I have Bloodfist, King of the

Kickboxers, Back in Action and another one that I can't even think of

the name right now.. Bloodfist was a pretty good movie, but

was NOT the star, I bet he was only in two scenes!

Yuppers, he's her kickboxing trainer :o)!!!!!!! That

happens to me all the time. You don't see people in

movies sometimes and then when they become " Famous "

you have to watch it again to see them. Like I don't

remember seeing Duncan e ( Coffee in
