Nick, this is dang near the best post on " what to expect food-wise " that has

ever been posted here. Just bloody excellent, my friend.

Your comment below is spot on. I could not abide spicy food pre DS. After

surgery the one thing that I actually craved was pintos-n-cheese from Taco

Bell - WITH their hot sauce. I couldn't stand hot sauce before the surgery.

Also, I've just about lost all desire for candy; I think that's one of the

reasons I'm still losing wee bits of weight even at nearly 5 years out. Some

days I eat a lot and some days I eat almost nothing at all.

My lowest weight was 193 but then I went back up to 205ish where I remain,

give or take a couple of pounds. I went from a 68 pants to a 38, that's

THIRTY pants size!
