Subject: Re:OT: - LYME TESTING AND QUESTIONS - NEED ADVICE !!!!To: mb12 valtrex Date: Sunday, August 3, 2008, 2:10 PM I don't think I have the answers to all of your questions. There is a link between food allergies and protein intolerances and all infections. I am not sure if you can gluten is caused by lyme. If your immune system detects and infection and you feed it gluten everyday your immune system may start reacting to gluten. My son reacts to milk and corn, the 2 main ingredients in Enfamil LIPIL which he drank a ton of for 11 months. DANs typically yell clostridia without really knowing what it is. I know that kids with infections often do get gut bugs too, but I don't think gut bugs are the beginning point of their infections. Many bacteria grow in sick hosts. If you look at AIDS patients, they don't die of the main infection, it is the other infections that get them. Negative tests are common b/c they test for antibodies which often are not being produced if the person (mother) has been sick for many years or if they (ASD kids) were born with it. They better tests being used are the Igenex Western Blot test, the Clongen test for babesia and bartonella and also the Fry Laboratories test for babesia and bartonella. Many lymes practitioners will treat patients with suggestive clinical histories for 3 months and then stop for a few days before running the tests
