Vicki,

Thank goodness your BP has been diagnosed. not knowing is much worse than

knowing because when one doesn't know, one thinks one is going crazy!

As for your son, all teenagers do dumb things; it's sort of a requirement

for being that age. I have a PhD in stupid things done while a teenager!

I think there is something in the air -- almost everyone I know had been

having a rough couple of months. Hang in there and know that things will get

better. I hear smacking your kids helps. :)

Vicki,

Good for you, getting help. Now, don't worry about the brat. My son

the police officer got caught shop-lifting when he was about ten years

old. I cried. Look at him now. I am so proud.

I was diagnosed as bi-polar last September. I have fought with

depression since Jr-high, no one ever said their might be anything

else to it all. I had just accepted the fact that I was crazy and

people would have to deal with it!. Last Summer I was showing some

very bad symptoms (The crazy had gone beyond the acceptable)and I

took myself to mental health.

So I have been on Prozac and Neourontin since Sept. I have to say

this is the best I can ever remember feeling!

Dr K. okayed my sugery knowing all that and I've done really well.

Let me know if you have any questions!

yea- I guess kids do test us and themselves but I cannot believe he would do

this. is a CO. He hears stories. Kinda blew me away but if it werent for

the other parent blaming my son and thinking hers is a victim instead of just as

guilty, it may be easier. I hate parents like that. They think their kids can do

no wrong and then they end up like Dalmer.

So was that the only time he did it? DId he learn his lesson after that?

thank you deidra. I was on Effexor for years but didnt really help. Its not for

Bi polar so why would it. This is the first time ive ever been to an actual

psychiatrist instead of a counselor so he was able to really diagnose. I look

forward to feeling as good as you and Im happy that you have been feeling good.

Hugs-

Yes, but we moved to a different state and got away from those bad

kids. I don't know what would have happened otherwise. I ordered him

away from those kids between the incident and when we moved.

Vicki,

I do not take any of these meds, but yeah for being proactive about

your situation. Sorry you lost Jakey. Always hard to adjust, but it

gets better with time. I will never forget when we had to have

(mixed black lab/samoyed). He had such a unique personality

of any animal we ever had ! I will pray your new meds get adjust and

all is well.

Sorry I have not been around, been busy being lazy and healing from

plastics. I am finally getting some energy back, but so much I have

not read on the board !

Thought I would pop in for a few this a.m. ...

Blessings,
