Guest guest
We have Verizon phone and bought the MIGO…they are hard to find now but are available on e-bay….it is GPS capable and holds 4 preprogrammed numbers that are dialed with just one button. For $19.00 a month I have the parent/child tracking Chaperon so I can locate my son at any time. They also offer the child zone that sends a text messages whenever your family member enters or leaves the “Child Zone” with his or her handset. For an additional $9.99 monthly .We went on line and bought a waterproof case for the phone (because we put his first 2 phones through the washer) and every morning it goes into his pants pocket. The migo has only 4 numbers programmed in so there is no incentive for other kids to take it so the school doesn't have a problem with it and if he is found by someone all his emergency phone numbers are there…home, office, mom and big sister's cell numbers. It is also great in a store to be able to call the phone and listen for it to ring when he has wondered an isle or 2 away when I turn my back. http://www.waterproofcases.net/waterproof-cell-phone-cases.html We also purchased an road id bracelet used for runners to use as an emergency contact bracelet because it is Velcro and stays on even in the tub and pool. It comes in cool colors and thinks it is a watch like mom wears so he had never taken it off….I swap the old one for a new one every 6 months when he is a sleep. $19.00 http://www.roadid.com/Common/default.aspx the Wrist ID also has a reflective tape for night time safety. W have a line that reads AUTISM / NONVERBAL
