Thanks for your reply . Do you think we could generate a list of those people who have had positive results? Next to clinical trials, its seems to me the MRIs represent the best evidence possible, and at a cost that should be far less than clinical trials. After all, we already know that the dosage of LDN that we take is perfectly safe; all that needs to be proved is that LDN actually works to stop the progress of MS.

If you were to present a judge and jury with a group of hundreds, if not thousands, of people that had "eyewitness" accounts of a set of facts over a period of years, any court in the land would find this to be one of the most persuasive forms of evidence possible. Yet in the medical realm, such evidence is deemed "anecdotal" and disregarded almost completely.

Seems to me that drug companies conducting clinical trials are much more subject to bias that individual patients; patients have nothing to gain or lose from their testimony, while drug companies have millions if not billions of dollars at stake. The general rules of evidence seem to be turned upside down - the foxes are being asked how best to design the chicken coops.

Anyway, I would be interested in any feedback.

Thanks.

-- mri results

HI Tom,

I recently put out a simiiar request on this webgroup. I recieved a bout 30 responses, saying LDN had stopped prgression. About two thirds had MRI data to back up their beliefs.2 people emailed to say they had not had success with LDN stopping progression. I beleive one had new symptoms and one had MRI proof.

Hope this helps.
