Hello everyone. I just wanted to let you know that Mom's prayers were

answered and she went to be with our Lord and my Dad on Oct. 28. I

was holding her in my arms, talking to her and praying when she left

us and I am so thankful I was with her. I had been telling her I

loved her and that she was the best Mom ever, caressing her forehead

(which would always calm her) and holding her hand for almost 48

hours straight. Even though hospice had told us on Tues. evening and

again on Thurs. morning that it would be soon, it was still very

hard. I miss her so much! We were best friends and we spent so much

time together since my Dad's death in 1986. She was a special person

who touched many lives and we celebrated that at her funeral. I am

so thankful that we were able to care for her in our home the last 14

months of her life. Although, as you all know, it was very difficult

at times, neither my husband nor I have any regrets. Our lives were

changed and I believe that God led us on this journey for a reason.

We laid her to rest on Monday and I still feel like it was all a

dream. Even though we knew the time was near, it is still very hard

to let go. The only thing holding me together right now is my faith

which I shared with her, and knowing that she is now happy and with

our Lord and my Dad. She no longer has to deal with this terrible

disease.

I am so thankful for all of you and such caring and love that I found

here. You have no idea what a lifeline you have been every day.

There were many days that I am not sure what I would have done if I

hadn't had this group to turn to for encouragement and prayers.

I will probably take a short break for a while but believe I will be

back. I feel that it is important to try to help others if I can, as

Sandie does so faithfully, in memory of my Mom.

I will continue to pray for all of you and your loved ones, please

keep us in your prayers, too, as we learn to live without Mom.

God Bless You,

M

How wonderful you were with your Mom until the very end. I am hoping to do

the same. I know she is happy now in heaven with her loved ones who have

passed before her.

Love and prayers to you and your family

Hi , big hugs and prayers to you from me. Your mum is no longer

suffering and you were able to help her make that transission with

love. I know you are missing her, but our loved ones live on in our

hearts and memeories. The love and caring you gave to your mum can

never be measured, but I know it will be sent back to you tenfold, as

my mum always says. Your mum and dad are looking out for you and your

family together now.

Peace,

.
