Citrate tablets are horse pills, that's why. My Kirkland ones are only 250mg each and nearly choke me. That is why I never like taking citrate pills, but usually take carbonate. Carbonate you can eat right out of the ground. Michigan is full of the stuff. Citrate they have to produce. ha ha. In Michigan our water was so full of calcium, I think we didn't need to drink milk and we never got cavities. Sigh.
