Guest guest
Dear , I have not been posting much lately, but I wanted you to know that I am saying special prayers for your mom, and you and your husband. I can't imagine what an incredibly difficult time this is. Whenever you need to vent, we are here for you. Sending you strength and lots of love, Piper

Guest guest
dad had his hospice eval yesterday, thank goodness as of now we have been accepted, and i gave them the lbd caregiver info that was given in the lacrosse cg meeting. she was grateful. dad will be getting a hospital bed and i will have someone come intwice a week to bathe dad and trim his hair ,nails etc, thank goodness, with donnieworking dads not gettinghis bathuntil in the evening when it is chilly yes in pensacola it does get chilly, lows in teh low 40's or upper 30's this week. they are trying to convince dad to use his bedside commode since his fall factor is so high. he promised the nurse he would be he still toddled to the bathroom tonite grrrrrrr. i hope we can convince him to use it very very soon as i am soooo afraid he is gonna get seriously hurt if/when he falls in the bathroom . sigh we are also going to have a methodist preacher come in and talk to us as a fmaily. i have been talkinga bout wantig to find a church so this will be perfect. so once a month he willl come in then. yipeeeeeeeee they are gonna order a hospital bed too, i am so much relieved to have done this, although dad swears he doenst need any of it today nurse and bathing aide is coming i am looking forward to them i will keep all advised, take care and hhugs sharon m a smile a day keeps the meanies away!!! laughter is a breath of fresh air!
