Guest guest
Vicki, I know they say it is a no-no, and I know why, but there are times when I simply have to have a little bit of a diet soda with my meal. I don't drink a lot, but I do it anyway. I am only talking about like once a month or so. It is like eating dessert, I don't do it everyday, but when I want it, I eat it. I don't eat the real fattening stuff, but a little I feel is going to keep me from going overboard. Of course I am also 3 1/2 years out. Newbies I would encourage not to drink it, for various reasons. Pearl **************Get trade secrets for amazing burgers. Watch " Cooking with Tyler Florence " on AOL Food. Guest guest
Ok- no yelling at me yet....lol. I remember the thread about diet sodas and how they can cause a redundant colon? Was that right? If not, please correct me as I do not want to spread incorrect info. Anyway- I found a trick that helps me. About 3 weeks ago, I was craving a diet soda and it filled me up after I drank it. WOOHOO!! Two and two together and if I am having a wall paper paste licking day, I thought I could do this. Is a soda once a week still a no no? Can it cause stones as well? Just checking because if this is not the way to go, then I will be a good girl!! Outside of this damn carb addiction, I am very compliant.
