Hi, I'm new to the group. A quick plug for LDN. I spread the word

anywhere I can. My wife was diagnosed w/ MS late 1996. She took

betaseron for 15 months. She decided it was ruining the quality of

her life so much she stopped. Tried copaxone starting July 2001.

Horrible injection site skin lesions. Simultaneously stopped it and

started LDN July 2004. I had been pushing LDN for some time and she

was desparate enough to try. She had had a debilitating headache

every day for 8 months through 2 rounds of IV steroids. The morning

after the first dose she had no headache. Since then much improved

energy, strength, bladder function, cognitive skills, balance, skin

sensation. She's regained feeling in her feet that were numb for 7

years plus to the point she can feel textures. A large lesion high

in her spinal cord that was/is very worrisome for the potential for

paralysis of the limbs has diminished in size in each of the last 2

MRIs. According to her previous, orthodox neurologist, the last 2

are impossible.

We live in Columbia, MO. For those looking for a doctor who

prescribes LDN, Dr. Sudhir Batchu in Columbia, presumably in person

only, it's a small operation. He's also very good. A relocation to

Algoma, Wisconsin is pending and may happen very soon for us. Does

anyone know of a Dr. in that area that prescribes LDN for MS? Dr.

is in LaCrosse but that's about 200 miles away. I'm

hoping for someone in Green Bay. Even Milwaukee, 120 miles, would be

reasonable. Thanks very much for any responses.
