Guest guest
Last month saw the lowest ever number of posts on the Supertraining group (73 posts). 6600 + members! I'm sorry that's pathetic! The numbers of posts have slowly deteriorated since Dr Siff's passing. Did Dr Siff post 700+ or more a month? As many members have commented quite recently the group won't be the same without Dr Siff, nonetheless, one would have hoped that we could manage more than 70 posts a month! Great advice from Gray (see post 'List Energy'): " Discussion on published journal or magazine articles, case studies on clients, personal bests and how you've achieved them, feedback on books you've read, etc. would all be excellent content to share our ideas, and learn from our colleagues. We've relied on the efforts of a few 'veterans' for far too long... and you only get what you give. " Why don't some members take? Oh oh, I hear some members moaning 'why should I post nobody else does?' Grow up. Plisk: " ST is what its members make of it. " I recall Dr Siff stating the following (post dealing with a loss): " Most of all, never let that spiritual spark inside you flicker out so that you are well and truly left on your own - let it burn relentlessly so that its light and strength will not only help you to cope, but even to flourish beyond those dark days of loss. " What an opportunity? Carruthers Wakefield, UK
Guest guest
Do you think Dr. Siff posted fewer than 700/month? Skip Dallen Covina, CA Lowest EVER no. of posts? Guest guest
> Do you think Dr. Siff posted fewer than 700/month?>> **I don't think Dr Siff posted 700/month, certainly Dr Siff's contribution to ST was inestimable, despite the fact that he considered himself the chairman of the group. His posts provided a vehicle for other members to post. However, as stated in the previous post one would have thought that a group with such a large and diverse membership base that we could have `risen to the challenge?' Far from whining and moaning about `how good it use to be,' members should be directing their energy into `what it will and can be?' Far more positives! After all education is a two-way process – everyone took advantage of Dr Siff's generosity of knowledge/advice, however, it is time that those members who have `sat back' to share some of their findings with the rest of us. Best regards Carruthers Wakefield, UK

Someone pointed out a few years ago that the best way to improve the local volunteer fire department was to join it and try to be a good fireman. Complaining about the current firemen was unlikely to make things better. I like your poetry. If I knew a way, I'd pass it on.
