Guest guest
Hello folks, My husband was Dx this April at age 60. I am 51. We live in north central WV. It's pretty rural and our health care system is so fragmented that most of us are used to scheduling MD appts and waiting months (yes!) to see the specialists. I get that " blank look " when I tell them it's Lewy Body Dementia. I then clarify that it's like Alz with psychosis. I still work full time as a hospice social worker - yes, how ironic can it get? Tippi is Harry's FT caregiver and she can read him like a book! She's great! I'll lurk for a while and see what your interests are at this time. With tenderness, Sue
