Hey, BG & group,

Sally here-I would def agree that the pork and red meat prob'ly cause

flaring with the crystalline and rheumatoid arthritis, and I know I should

stop eating that stuff:(!!

Sounds like you do OK on chicken and fish? The only seafood/fish I like is

lobster and that with lots of drawn butter!! Woe is me, huh?

However, I hardly ever drink, regularly work-out (water aerobics, lt

weights, stationary bike, 20 mins at a slow speed on the treadmill (due to

pain in feet), all my own hsewrk for the 1st time since '93, and most fun-

a motor assisted, really cool adult tricycle I have-LOVE IT-but have to

have hubby around when I ride as wrists and hands are so bad there's no way

I can push it if I get stuck!), and try to eat lots of fruit, veggies and

pasta with my meats.

What I meant about dieting is not to let yourself get that horrible kind of

hungry you get when dieting-did that last year (only to lose 5 lbs, for

heaven's sake!) and really had trouble with my joints, when I was sooo

hungry. Don't want to go thru that again!

If any of you want to look into the motor-assisted trikes, the phone number

is 1-888-3wheeler. They're recumbent trikes with a tractor seat and I got

coaster and hand brakes for mine-pretty exp but what freedom-I haven't been

able to do my beloved walks around the 'hood in years and now I can ride,

and stop and talk (while seated:) and use the motor when I want to or need

to. There's a little lever on the handlebars that I push with my thumb when

I want to use the motor. The motor holds about a 2 hr charge from the

battery. I plug the battery in after every ride-it sits in the large basket

on the back of the bike. I take my cell ph, water, sunglasses & ID in a

plastic bag on my rides. I got a 3 speed and it was $800 for the PAV3 trike

and another $1200 for the motor and battery and I got armrests, lights,

fenders, puncture resistant tires and all those cost extra, of course! Web

site is: http://www.worksman.com/p.23.html and e-mail is workcycle@....

I've had this trike for almost 2 yrs-don't know why I haven't written about

it sooner-It was developed by a guy with MS, and I saw a bunch of the trikes

when watching TV in the DC area and looking at a gathering of disabled folks

on the mall.

Hopefully, somebody in the group can get one and enjoy it!

Hugs!

Oh Kim,

What great news, I started to tear up. I can barely see my screen. It is

good to hear from you again. I will also be looking for the way to get the

Mexican order for Naltrexone and the directions, for a friend of a friend

that gave up years ago and refuses to see a doctor. She tried so many

things that never worked years ago, and she has no faith that there is

anything at all that will help her. She gave up years ago and has not left

her bed for quite a long time. My friend says that she is only alive

because she has a son that is about 12 years old. Wouldn't it be great if

she tried LDN and had success.

My best
