Hi Aletha,

I think that this is an excellent idea:

In these presently somewhat benighted & challenging times in health care, such information, contributing in a considered & balanced way to making LDN more widely understood & accessible must surely be to the good!

That said, it does seem to me that the sheer number of conditions for which LDN seems to offer varying potential benefits, coupled with the subtly variable range of doses, food, supplements, level of exercise etc & any other lifestyle choices that may have a bearing on the eventual outcome of LDN`s use, seems to me to indicate that such a project is likely to quickly become encyclopaedic in it`s scope!

(-With the inherent implications as to the necessary editing skills & amount of work entailed: -I hope that you have plenty of energy!)

The range of intended topics that you have listed seems pretty comprehensive to me: (-Though one point that occurs is that I imagine that the proposed list of prescribing doctors needs very careful handling in order to ensure that no one unwilling to be made known is listed........)

-In general, this proposal sounds like the inception of a potentially invaluable project that could have far reaching consequences.

GOOD LUCK!!!

Best Wishes,

Gerald

[low dose naltrexone] Setting up our own protocal for LDN for different ailments it helps with

Hi Everyone,

For MS alone, I have noticed that about 70 to 80% of those that try LDN and stay on it for over 6 months seem to have success to some degree or another. Some of these MS'rs have miraculous success. It seems that there has been success for many other ailments also.

From our chat site I have been gathering a lot of our information regarding what things seem to help with MS regarding dosages, ways to take it, what kind of reactions that may take place, problems that may arise etc. I have also seen a lot of information regarding what is a good compliment to using LDN such as supplements, diets and exercise.

I am hoping to put together a welcome package for utilizing LDN for MS, that would incorporate this information which maybe helpful for those that are starting. Sometimes there is just too much information out there and it can be overwhelming at first. My goal is to put it together within the next few months. First I will post it to our site and then ask for editing help and suggestions. Then I am hoping that someone from each different ailment will modify it for more specific help with those areas.

I will also attach a copy of what doctors prescribe LDN, how to get it from Mexico, where to look for statistics, protocols from Dr. ce, and the various web sites for Dr. Bihari, Skips, Remedyfind.com, The Compounder, and what ever else is helpful. Also It would be good to list the books that have been written regarding LDN.

All of this should be done in a way that is very easy to understand (broken down into basic English) and then include references to the more technical information. It will be stated that we are not doctors and that all of the information gathered and expressed is simply from the experiences of chatters from this site that have had the opportunity to use LDN.

Please let me know what you all think, and please send information regarding what you would like to be to

included. In order not to clog up the site, you may wish to e-mail me privately at Aletha@...

Bless everyone's heart for being so brave as to try LDN and for caring about sharing your successes and failures to help others.

Aletha
