Dear Friends,

My father has been taking LDN since October 2004 with some very good results. He has had PD for 14 years. May 2004 he underwent the first part of DBS surgery and unfortunately was paralyzed from the surgery on his left side. Consequently his recovery has been a tremendous effort. His stroke left him completely paralyzed on his left side. Today he is eating most foods and drinking most beverages, learning to walk again (lots of time in a pool), etc. He is doing really well considering the tremendous task.

When he started taking LDN we saw an immediate response, within days. His muscle tension in all his limbs and trunk relaxed. His speech was better for a short time. We were able to lower his medication and eliminate one entirely. He seems to continue to do well but at times his carba/leva 25/100(he takes 5-6 pills a day and 2mg. Artane) can't help him for very long with his fatigue and tremor. He probably has 6 to 8 hours of good time on good days, meaning when he is not overtired from the previous days activities.

He goes to the pool 2x per week and we're working on 3x. He walks in and out with assistance, walks the length of an Olympic pool 1 to 2x, plays and works his legs in the water usually spending at least one hour. We have noticed that when he is stimulated mentally his medications work much better.

We still believe the LDN is helping tremendously. I look forward to hearing from any of you and if you have a stroke or PD or your loved one does please feel free to share your experiences.

Thank you and Warm Regards to All,

Destiny
