Guest guest
How low was low on your D? Vicki > > Hi Everyone, > > A few weeks ago I got my yearly (I am pre-op) labs from my internist and she said I my Vitamin D level was a little low and that I should supplement with Vitamin D 1000 IU daily. Since I am going to (hopefully) have DS surgery in the coming months should I stick with this level or possibly up it. I don't want to go into this surgery already having a deficiency! > > Now for my update: I had my consult with Dr. Keshishian a few days ago. His explanation of the various procedures were very informative. In fact, between his explanations and the research I have done I didn't have many questions when it came to our one on one consult. Of course the minute I walked out of the building I had about 5 questions that came to mind. > > Anyhow, now I am just gathering all the necessary documentation for my insurance pre-auth. It is kind of tricky trying to go back almost 20 years getting proof that I did this or that medically supervised diet or special diet plan. > > Thanks for the warm welcome. > > >
Guest guest
Vicki, I don't know how low, the doctor just sent me an email with my cholesterol results and as side note said that my D levels were a little low. I can find out if it will be helpful but I am assuming I am not deficient. -shelly > > > > > How low was low on your D? > > Vicki >
Guest guest
It's really a good idea to always get a copy of your labs and start a file. I keep mine in a binder. That way you can track them, If you click on files to he left there is a lab tacker you can print out Vicki > > > > > > > > > > How low was low on your D? > > > > Vicki > > >
