Good thing Bren is on vacation! Her fingers would be on fire typing!! (Just joking !!) Calcium Carbonate can be used as a filler, but if packed too tightly, it can cause the LDN to be 'slow-release'. It MUST be 'fast-release'. Acidophilous, Avicel, and lactose seem to be the fillers used most often. Dr. Bihari seems to believe that the amount of lactose is not enough to cause a problem. Ask for whichever filler you want. Marcie
Guest guest
I'm lactose intolerent what other filler can be used by the pharmacist that wouldn't take away from the effectiveness of the medication? Ciao Elio
Guest guest
Elio, www.msrc.co.uk used to have an LDN Information packet on site. The page where the link is: http://www.msrc.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseaction=show & pageid=777 & CFID=1030021 & CFTOKEN=76861391 & searchterms=ldn I just tried to go to the link, and I got the error that 'the page cannot be found'. Hmm...I wonder what happened to it? Good thing I already printed it out, isn't it. Anyway, in the information packet are two good bits of advice for people requesting LDN from a pharmacy: (!) Ask for Calcium Carbonate filler, and (2) Slow-release (or long acting) LDN is NOT to be used. Good luck to you! eliofucile <eliofucile@...> wrote: I'm lactose intolerent what other filler can be used by the pharmacistthat wouldn't take away from the effectiveness of the medication?CiaoElio

You handled it like a pro in my absence. aka Bren...I'm back but tired of all that traveling in such a short period of time. I've been in the road 7 hours since Thursday morning and I did all the driving.
Guest guest
Hello, Just a quick note....I am an American traveling abroad at this time and I have not been able to get LDN in the states and was hoping to get it over here. But they have never heard of it..... is it known by another name at the pharmacys?? If you could let me know, I would really be grateful. Thank you, Jan
Guest guest
> ======== What country are you in at the moment? You would have to see a doctor there and get a prescription unless you are in Mexico and in Mexico Naltrexone is known as ReVia and it comes in 50mg tablets. You would have to mix your own LDN with the instructions at GoodShape's website for liquid LDN.
