Guest guest
I want to welcome all the newbies. You all have found a great home and wonderful new friends. Sorry I haven't been here a lot. Still battling the dragon. The Humira seems to finally be kicking in, I think the "patch" is helping to but I just have to believe it is the Humira making me feel better LOL. I do have one question on the Humira, if someone (Caroline) can answer. I am starting to get site reactions. Has anyone on the Humira went through this and how long do they last? I went back to Denver today. We are going to try the Humira on an every 10 day schedule from the 2weeks schedule as I start to hurt more 3days before my next shot. I have a head cold and a sinus infection, so we are starting antibiotics today as well. He did tell me to stay on the Humira and MTX injections while on the antibiotic. I see him again in a month. My lab work from Friday was really really high and totally out of whack, on things that I had never seen on my tests before. They explained some stuff to me. I think this head cold, sinus infection has some play in there (I tried to talk him into it as well LOL) He did agree to a point, but we are going to watch it more. Did more lab work again today, this keeps up I am not going to have any left LOL Sounds like if the Humira is the one that is really working for me, then we will start decreasing the MTX or prednisone first and see what happens. As long as I can decrease my home pharmacy and be okay I am all for it LOL. While in Walgreens today waiting for my antibiotics, I came across something rather interesting. They have that "Bed Buddy" that you warm up in the microwave and gives you moist heat for where you need it. Well they now have "Bed Buddy Warming Footies" Since I hurt so much in the ankles and feet mom bought them for me. So I will let you know how they work. You heat them up in the microwave and put them on... hehehe no more cold feet LOL I am still in the process of starting up this home business. Just have to figure out a way to make my website better. If you all would like to look at it, the link is below. http://hometown.aol.com/kelleyskreation/myhompage/index.html I hope to be more in contact with the group, as I think the dragon is starting to loosin his gripe on me, or I hope at least. Sorry so long Love to you all Kelley in Colorado
