Guest guest
Guys, I finally saw the dentist on friday nite, and he told me the tooth was already abcessed(sp?)and it looked like two more were well on their way.Meaning that I was going to have to go antibotics immediately. Now the stupid thing hurts more than it did before he put me on the antibotic and poked around on it. I have not ever had any absessed like this before, They usually fracture and/or fall apart on me, i go get it fixed. This time the pain is 10x worse than I have ever had. Guess the billion dollar question, is the still's making the pain worse for me as I already have the fever(102) and it's climbing along with the pain. Want some input here. I don't want to sound like a whinner or anything but GEEESE, I am ready to climb the walls here with this... Tracilyn
Guest guest
Tracilyn, I sure ain't no tooth expert, but I will tell you what for sure. When I was really hurting bad and my hands and wrists, well heck everything hurt big time, my teeth were hurting too. I would have to say that as far as I am concerned that it all ties together and everything was inflamed all at once it seemed like. P.S. don't bite down on anything hard, like in the movies, you will break a tooth. Dan One last Dental type question folks.............. Guest guest
Dear Tracilyn; Mine did the same thing at early onset. One got abscess and then two more and when I woke from surgery all three were gone. They were on the side thank goodness. Take your antibiotics faithfully and snuggle with a warm cloth. Guest guest
Tracilyn, I remember during my last admission that my new (and same as the old) neurologist when she asked me to describe the pain of my headaches. One of the things I told here is that the pain was so bad I could feel my heartbeat in my teeth. To be honest, they hurt along with everything else in my head, but it was not the same kind of pain I've had with broken or infected teeth. Hope you feel better soon. Kirk.
