Apricot pits alone will not do the job. The seeds of many edible plants as well as the plants themselves, but to a lessor extent, contain a compound made up of two toxic chemicals that, while bonded, are inert. When the substances encounter a cancer cell, they react to an enzyme produces by the cancer cell called Beta glucosidase which fractures the chemical bond thus releasing the toxins into the cell which kills it.

In order for cancer cells to be destroyed by the use of Laetrile/Amygdalin,it is necessary to also consume large doses of Vitamin A and large amounts of digestive enzymes that are animal based thus containing the enzymes of trypsin and chymotrypsin. I agree with you Hildegard e - that's also one of the things my mother is doing for her breast cancer. She is also taking Curcumin and apricot pits as well as other natural therapies.
