Guest guest
I have been taking ambrotose for over 4 months now and my improvements have been remarkable...still a long way to go - but I am headed in the right direction. You can email me directly at lorigrady214@... I also have a glyco-friends group where people are talking about their experiences... My one friend in NY literally was not out of her house in 2 years. First she actually went out on the porch. Later she was able to attend 2 events at her sons school. Still in a wheelchair - but that was something she couldn't do before. I am still on ldn too. I love it and all that it has done for me. At such a tiny dose I may stay on it forever..... Please email and we can talk more...
Guest guest
Hi Amy, Go slow, be aware, research, because Ambrotose supposedly helps immune and endocrine disorders. CMT is neither, as you know it is genetic, in our DNA. Ambrotose has also apparently been helpful in Down's Syndrome and is supposedly full of glyconutrients. Glyconutrients have been tried by people with ALS as well as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. You can research all this further. I'm not saying it's not possible that foot drop might be eliminated with Ambrotose, we with CMT try many items and substances. But footdrop is about muscle atrophy. Just do your homework, and just because a doc is giving it to his kid, doesn't mean anything, except that's what he is doing. Perhaps you can talk to the doc more and question his childs symptoms " before " and " now " . Like how many of our subscribers use Vitamin C supplements. If a doc had found something that helped drop foot, seems to me he would have patented it and made millions from all the neurological disorders that have a characteristic of foot drop. There isn't any peer reviewed " medical " literature on Ambrotose and CMT. You may also want to check quackwatch.com on this. ~ Gretchen
Guest guest
Amy, Umm I had my CMT kids on the Phyto Bears from the Mannatech company. It got really expensive. The sales person told me about a child with MD that was responding really well to the Mannatech and said she would have the Mother call me. I never heard anything else and quit buying the stuff.
