What you might do is just start a program on idioms. Usborn (I think) makes

a great

Idiom book for kids that is alphabetically ordered. I teach my son one

idiom a week

--well that was my idea when I started. I've since slowed down a bit since

he's in

School. Once you start to think about it, most of what people talk about

is in

Idioms or slang. Something to think about.

Calendar Only $10

For those of you that have very literal kids like mine, I thought that you

would be interested in this. I am certainly going to order one. When

was asked what it means to " beat your head against the wall " - he got up and

hit his head on the wall. Obvious that we have needed to work on this.

This looks great as a daily page for each day that will explain these

things. I know that I'm going to certainly order one or more. I think this

would be something great to give to his school for all the kids to work on.
