Guest guest
I was on Avonex from 1999-June2004 and slowly declined until I used the walking stick anywhere outside where there was no linolium or walls to hold. June2004-Now I use Copaxone and I added LDN just on my 5th anniversary of my MS dx. I know it is doing some good, bladder/bowel, sleep and likely a halt in progression. I don't recall a lot of difference in results between Avonex and Copaxone, but last fall I went through a lot of job stress(jobless). On the other hand I am employed again and on LDN so I think extra positive. xin is a therapy which seems to be more of a treatment where the Drs draw enough blood with white blood cells to cull out those which attack a sample of Myelin. The White Blood Cells are rendered inactive and reinjected to the patient. Those bad T-cells are then attacked as foreign invaders and the body continues to defend the patient from all T-cells like those. Even as we may produce more (due to stresses or diseases). If you go back and read Toms original post, or the bottom of mine; It has the story of one of the Phase II patients. -
