Guest guest
You are right--that is what we were charged--$76 for 60 4.5 capsules from Irmats. I was getting mixed up and thinking the $76 was for both my son's and husband's prescriptions but it looks like it was $76 for each one of them according to my receipts. So it does seem that Skip's is about half the cost of Irmat's. Sorry for the misinformation in my previous but at least you got my thinking straightened out. Thanks. The $12.50 that's been noted on this email list for LDN from Skip's is for the 3 mg dose. Kathy I get 4.5 from Irmat's and they charge me $38. That includes shipping it to me but I think that's than 5 bucks. Wonder why the big difference. Arlene
Guest guest
Good Morning all~ I haven't been here for a while. But always read the posts! Just thought I'd jump in here about the price difference for LDN thru Skip's Pharmacy. I was in Boca last week, and had the opportunity to stop in Skip's Pharmacy and speak with him. What an interesting, caring man he is. Anyway, I was told that the reason he can sell the LDN for 17.00 is due to the amount he sells. When I walked into the Pharmacy, , , I will tell you, I thought I was in a Fed X office! Boxes and Boxes of scripts ready to be picked up by Fed X. It's not your typical corner store pharmacy. It's a store front, office in front, where all the mailing out of presriptions are done, and the back is his compounding pharmacutical area. He's quite a busy man, and sends LDN out all over the country. So, I guess due to the exploding demand for LDN, he is able to keep his prices lower. I used to use Irmats. I was being charged $38. a month. Then started having my local Compounding Pharmacist make the LDN for me, (which he is now doing for quite a few others!!) And was being charged $30. a month. for 4 . 5 But, I think I'll stick with Skip's now. I may as well save the $$ each month. I had forgotten my LDN when leaving NY for my week trip to Fla. That's how I wound up at Skips. Bill, (from Dr. Bihari's office) called in the script for me. I worried about changing, not sure if a different filler would be a problem, but the Avecil hasn't treated me any differently from the Lactose, so I'm good!! Anyway, I'm grateful for having the pleasure of meeting the man I've heard does so much for and with LDN. Hope you are all doing well.
