Extra support may be on the way soon for the hundreds of autistic children

in the Miami-Dade public school system. After three months of meetings, the

district's Autism Task Force has issued its recommendations on how to better

serve students with the disorder. School Board members will have the

opportunity to move forward on the ideas at Wednesday's board meeting.
