Search for Child Care, Other Services on 2-1-1 Texas Website

AUSTIN ? Texans looking for child care or educational services for children now

have a new tool to help their search. At www.211texas.org, parents have a single

point of access where they can search for either private or public-assisted care

and educational services for children. The new search feature draws on

information from the Texas Education Agency, the Texas Workforce Commission, the

Texas Head Start Collaboration Project, and Texas Department of Family and

Protective Services, expanding the previous list of child care resources to

include all children's services in public schools. Information about the

services is updated on a regular basis. Read the news release

time on your User Profile Page. All you will need are your e-mail address and

your password (if you selected one).

This service is provided to you at no charge by the Texas Health and Human

Services Commission.
