Guest guest
Funny you should mention this. Was experimenting last week. For me 4.5ml is stronger than the 4.5mg capsule and equivalent to my 6mg capsules..I just tried the liquid from the pharmacy and was quite surprised by this. Do you mix yourself? Guest guest
Just to add to this discussion, I just started taking the homemade liquid a little over a week ago. At first it didn't seem to make a difference, but for the last 3 nights I have slept very soundly and was up to the bathroom only once. On the capsules I was tossing and turning all night and up on the average 3-4 times. My caps were 4.5 and I tried The Compounder, Skips, and then Irmats. It's taken some time and persistence, but I think the liquid is better for me. I felt like stopping the ldn a few times b/c it didn't seem to be doing anything, but I kept going just on the chance it is stopping some progression. Just my two cents. Guest guest
I would also like to know if you can use the compounded capsules as liquid. I still have a slow progression going on. I take 3.0 cause when I take the 4.5 I get headaches. I do feel lots better on 3.0, but would like to try the liquid. Thanks, U
Guest guest
I haven't had time to read this weekend here but I'm here to tell you, the LIQUID WAY WORKS!!!!!! if otherwise is not working, DO NOT GIVE UP b/c the liquid dose of 4.5mgs brought me back to LIFE. I feel like I'm in my 20's and I'm 43 and I can do anything I want. Went out dancing again last night and all my family can say is BE CAREFUL!!LOL I had a great time and feel so good to be ALIVE again. The GENERIC LDN is working just like the Revia as they have the same ingredients. I can't stop talking about LDN and I'm telling everyone about LDN! and everyone wants LDN......NEVER GIVE UP!!!!! TRY THE LIQUID LDN!!!!! I think the body absorbs the liquid better and faster. And day doses, NO!! don't think that is the answer either as I tried that and that didn't work... Guest guest
Arlene, Are you using your compounded caps and making them into liquid to get these results? Your symptoms sound familiar...not great sleep, and up several times a night to pee. I have been taking ldn for16 months, and still going thru slow progression. I've stopped for a week and lo and behold... NO getting up to pee and sleeping soundly! I'd like to try liquifying my cap ingredients, to see if it makes a difference.I've gotten my 4.5 caps from Skips from the very beginning.I just received another 3 months worth, so I'd like to use them .. -- Re: [low dose naltrexone] Liquid vs Capsule - Which is better? Guest guest
- I had to work and did but getting out of bed was exhausting. By the time I took care of my animals an got ready for work and drove the long distance to get there, I was DEAD but functioned. I used to work out 2-3 times a week and could not do that anymore. Now I could work out daily if I choose to. I have energy unimaginable! I could still now run around the block but need to go to bed soon to work Monday. Not sure if I would sleep without wine but have drank wine for over 15 years. I had fatigue, BAD, legs gave out on me by night and during day with right foot dragging, had the heat symptoms of pins sticking in me, shocking sensations, bugs crawling in my hair snsations, cognitive dysfuction and memory problems BAD, no motivations, just felt like giving UP, numb all over, and not sure what ugly else right now but I was a totally different person than I AM and Now I'm back to Normal......I can't believe how much time went by and I knew I wasn't right but time keeps going by and now I have CONTROL OF IT, whatever IT is...... LDN is the BEST!!! I will take LDN FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) -- In low dose naltrexone , " " <cindyyoung@a...> wrote: > Rhonda, What was your level of disability before the liquid LDN? > > > > > > -- [low dose naltrexone] Re: Liquid vs Capsule - Which is better? > > I haven't had time to read this weekend here but I'm here to tell > you, the LIQUID WAY WORKS!!!!!! if otherwise is not working, DO NOT > GIVE UP b/c the liquid dose of 4.5mgs brought me back to LIFE. Guest guest
Just empty the capsules in water and drink and add more water to get anything left off the glass. Guest guest
I am so happy for you... you sound like you're in love...with LDN. I will try emptying my 4.5 cap into water tonight and see what happens. I have bad foot drop and horrible balance, so I'm not expecting a miracle...but I am open to one. Running or even walking around the block seems like a dream to me. -- [low dose naltrexone] Re: Liquid vs Capsule - Which is better?> > I haven't had time to read this weekend here but I'm here to tell > you, the LIQUID WAY WORKS!!!!!! if otherwise is not working, DO NOT > GIVE UP b/c the liquid dose of 4.5mgs brought me back to LIFE. Guest guest
By my experience, I think the LIQUID way of LDN is the ONLY way for any of us to be doing. Why play around when the liquid way goes to the blood stream and does it's work without the capsules having to dissolve in stomach acids etc. Makes sense to me and WORKS!! I would do no other way!! Goodluck!!! Yep, I'm in LOVE with LDN, Bigtime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and in love again with a MAN, thanks to LDN!!!!!!!! Keep at it with the liquid way, may take time but with me, 24 hrs later after the liquid way, I had ENERY ETC..................and it's great!!!:0) > > > the only sense i can make of this is people with ms frequently > > have impaired digestive systems so the liquid form is utilized in > > the body more effectively? Guest guest
Maybe some pharmacies dont make them the work to make real capsules,in liquid I know what is in it. Guest guest
No, I never have tried the capsules in water, so I don't know how they would work. I use the Revia pills and dissolve them according to www.goodshape.net mixing instructions for homemade ldn. I do know that the capsules I took were not doing for me what my liquid is doing. I feel so much better for a longer period of time. The sleep is much sounder and like I said I only get up 1, and sometimes 2 times as opposed to the 3-4 on the caps. It didn't happen the first few nights, it was about a week. It's interesting that you stopped taking it and were able to sleep and not pee. It's definitely worth a try. I know the feeling of being so miserable. Arlene
Guest guest
Thought about this this morning and I forgot to mention the bad PAIN I had from head to toe is GONE!! Can you imagine I actually forgot about the Pain! That went away with the crushed way of taking LDN I did in the beginning within the first week. Guest guest
For anyone with the compounded LDN that wants to try liquid LDN, I meant to open up the capsules and dump the contents into water or whatever you want to drink. Even if you put the capsule in something, I assume it dissolves after some time but why wait. I have my dad opening up the capsules and putting the contents in water just b/c I got better benefits, want him to get the best with his prostate cancer.
