Guest guest
Welcome back, Debs! How great to hear from you! Please take it slow and easy. No need to keep on top of the mail. You're busy enough, I'm sure. I really hope you can go home on February 4th. It's very hard to believe you have been there that long. We've missed you. Guest guest
We love you, Deb, and are glad to see you back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We want you to get out as soon as possible, and I think you're right --- the sooner you're home the safer you are, LOL. I know Ron and the girls will be happy to have you back home where you belong. If you feel up to a short conversation, I sent you my cell number privately. I can't tell you the joy in my heart to see you post. I have tears in my eyes as I type. To me it feels like you're finally on the road to recovery. I've missed you SO much. All my love, Carol [ ] Digest Hi All, Let's see,Happy Halloween, Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. I am still alive but still currently incarcerated in the inpatient rehab unit. They expect me to be an inmate here until at least 2-4-03. At this time, I am currently unable to walk, I was just able to sit up on Wednesday and today they were to stand me up, but I have developed a bladder infection (can't imagine--------been on a catheter in 10-7-02) and the symptoms made physical therapy just too painful. So I have yet another medication added to my schedule and with any luck I can try again tomorrow. Yikes, I fear the longer I stay at this facility, the more chance they have of really killing me. I still have memory problems, but my family has been a Godsend. Even my sister came from Chicago. Unfortunately, I don't remember any of her visit or her even being here. Please someone take me off digest as I am unable to open anything. Thank you. As I am now in rehab, I will try to keep more on top of my mail. This has been the hardest thing in my life I have ever gone thru and some of the work has not even started yet. Thank you all for your good wishes and prayers. They were much needed and greatly appreciated. Hope to talk to you all soon. Debs in FL

Guest guest
, Thanks for the attorney info - I'll look into that here in NC. I was assuming I would find an attorney who would work on a contingency basis, but I'm still learning about all this, so I could be wrong. Keep me posted on your legal battle. What insurance do you have? What was their reason for denial? Guest guest
Hi, I began LDN last night, and had stomach problems. Is this normal? Has anyone else had stomach problems when beginning LDN? Will they stop after awhile? The pharmacy used lactose as the filler, but I am not lactose intolerent. Thanks for the info. Annette "Go confidently into the direction of your dreams! Guest guest
Hi! Good luck with your new treatment. > I began LDN last night, and had stomach problems. Is this normal? Has anyone else had stomach problems when beginning LDN? Will they stop after awhile? I had also had some stomach irritation when started, but it was not an issue. I had a very light, almost unnoticeable pain in my stomach. Perhaps you should not take naltrexone with a completely empty stomach. Try eating some yoghurt prior to taking LDN. Yoghurt builds something like a wall protecting the stomach. If you follow the Swank diet, you could eat a 2% yoghurt. 0% is not much good for protecting your stomach. > The pharmacy used lactose as the filler, but I am not lactose intolerent. Thanks for the info. Are you sure you are not? Have you ever had such a test? If you are intolerant, yoghurt may only make it even worse, but I don't think that it is the case. Unfortunately, you have to try it and see. Maybe using some other filler next time you order LDN. Stavros
