Guest guest
Hi Jan- Thank you so much for your prayers. My uncle has been in a coma since Monday nights hospital admission. It really is hard to see him just lying there. This is a man that carried asphalt shingles on his back up ladders, worked 2 jobs after he retired, and was friendly with everyone - never knew a stranger. My cousin built up enough strength to have 'the talk' with his dad, telling him it is ok to go, he will take care of his mom and all will be ok. I had an annual check-up yesterday and was told then it would be a good idea to add a baby aspirin daily as my blood pressure has steadily climbed over the years. Nothing to worry about, just something to keep in my thoughts. When I heard this I instantly went and bought some aspirins, knowing my uncle was in the hospital having had a stroke. Then, I have a follow-up appointment next week from my prior appointments. Anyhow, the sun keeps coming up and once again I am reminded that life is a gift and to cherish each and every moment, no matter what we are given. Take it with pride that atleast we were given the day. Hoping Jim is still at a plateau, and kinda wondering how his kids are treating you... Huge hugs back at ya Jan- Sandie -- Re: Unrelated to > LBD-Prayers OT > > > Sandie, I just came online for a short time and > wanted to tell you > that I will keep you and your family in my prayers. > I know it is a > very hard time for your uncle, aunt and cousin...and > you.
