Hello Folks,

My apologies for being slow to respond to your questions, I have been

" family busy " for a few days, and this coming week I will be having a series

of regularly scheduled medical tests because I am changing doctors due to my

previous physician's retirement. I will try to get all your questions

answered ASAP.

Two items of interest, but the best news first!

My sister, who, as you know, has the brain cancer, has been using my new

machine since I brought it to her. Her family reports that she is doing much

better.

They report that she can now get up and walk around without assistance; she

is eating much better, and her mental confusion has been greatly reduced.

She reports an immediate sensation of calm and relief when the machine is

turned on and for some time thereafter. While we realize that this may be

only a temporary improvement, and possibly not related to the use of the

machine, it has, at least, improved her quality of life considerably.

She has chosen to forgo (for now, at least) any more conventional chemo and

radiation treatments. Needless to say, the family will be watching to see

how she progresses.

The second item of interest is that I have finished assembly and testing of

the #2 prototype circuit board for the Controller. After making some

component changes and a little tweaking, it is working perfectly.

I added a switch-selectable option to allow either frequency doubling as

described in my web article, or simple conversion from sine to square wave,

i.e., 1:1 conversion - no frequency doubling. This is for experimenters who

may wish to drive the system from a generator that can produce sine waves of

a higher frequency than a computer or a CD/DVD player is able to handle.

As soon as I have quadruple checked the board layout, I will have the #3

prototype board etched. If all goes well with that board, and it requires no

further changes, then I will be able to release it. I want to make sure

everything works " as advertised " before I turn it loose. I'll let you know

what happens as soon as I know myself.

Thanks for your interest in this project!

Ralph W5JGV - WD2XSH/7

Hello Ralph, I am very glad to hear about the progress for your sister. Could

you give me more information on your machine that you are using? It sounds very

interesting and there is a chance I may be able to offer a suggestion. Thank

you, jj w9uqa 73's
