Guest guest
FYI From Sue.. this was passed to me by ..she Used to post. Dear Friends, With Airline fiascoes involving children with Autism and National Radio Programs fostering incorrect assumptions about children living with Autism it is time to help EDUCATE the community. We have difficulty with Sam out in the community and we finally decided to do something about others who just stare at us! It is working! I can not even tell you first hand how nice it is to see others in a store, doctor's office, and on the playground visibly change their demeanor in front of my eyes once they see the sticker on Sam's back that states "I AM NOT MISBEHAVING, I HAVE AUTISM". Or another that says "PLEASE BE KIND, I HAVE AUTISM" and the third that states "PLEASE HAVE PATIENCE, I HAVE AUTISM". I have people now helping me out to my car. Maybe others are just fearful of the unknown quirks and actions.........but now they are informed and they are responding! My family has created safety and awareness products that are helping us, maybe they will help you as well. Pass the website along to others who may benefit from these products. Please see our website at http://autismkidsid.com/. We have children's vinyl stickers, educational cards, window decals and emergency safety cards. Be a warrior and be empowered! Guest guest
How funny--I was just trying to post this same email. Jeanmarie is my friend and I can personally say that I ordered the kit and I LOVE IT. For only 27.00 I received the stickers, an in car sticker to inform emergency and police that one or more individuals in the car may have Autism. Also I put together the laminated, ID card--only took me 15 minutes on the site and now I have a at least 6 of these cards--heavy laminated, with my son's photo, his stats, diagnosis/drs. numbers, guardians numbers, likes/dislikes, and dietary/medical restrictions. It gives me great peace of mind. I put on behind his carseat (for emergency personel), and have one in glove compartment. When school starts, I'll have one in his backpack and you can put them on a lanyard (or anything else of your choice) for them to wear on fieldtrips, vacations, at the park. I really love the kit. I'm also quite proud of Jeanmarie. She knows how it is and we've both spent a lot of time in the "biomedical trenches" as well as trying to keep our boys safe. I like these much better than the temporary tattoos. In the kit I ordered, I got 100 resuable stickers that let people know that my son has autism and to please be kind and patient. Hope this helps take care Stickers Available for Educating about ASD FYI From Sue.. this was passed to me by ..she Used to post.
