I think because when you only see the loved one occasionally - it is hard to believe they have this horrible disease. They have good times and bad times and if that person sees them when they are having a good day - it reinforces thier belief that thier not sick. I see my mother every day and so I see her go in and out - I read the stories on this site and know she has LBD - the stories are all so similar. Hang in there.
