Guest guest
I too would be interested as my husband has been on LDN for 18 months with no benefit. Thanks Ali
Guest guest
I am also interested in contacting the person who was experimenting with the day dose. He was very up front with his information and received some negative feedback from the group and disappeared. Please email me. Your findings make sense to me and I'd like to hear how you're doing. > Can't recall who it was, but someone was trying a dose of ldn in the day > also. Can you contact me personally please. Guest guest
I know of a number of people doing day doses of LDN. Some do morning, mid day, and early evening at 1.5 each. Others just do once or twice a day. All are doing well and much better than with the night doses. Since this group seems dedicated to following the teachings of Bren and Dr. Bihari, and these people have no need to be contraversial, They do not post here. If you feel comfortable doing so, experiment with finding what works best for you. > > Can't recall who it was, but someone was trying a dose of ldn in the > day > > also. Guest guest
hello, i was the one experimenting with a low dose day and night dose. basically i got fairly quick benefits from the night dose and just based on the research thought i would try a low dose day dose also. So i did 1 4.5mg dose at 9pm and then in the morning around 9-11am the day dose. There was much less pain almost immdiately (i am taking it for fibromyalgia, not MS) but other than that I didnt notice a significant difference except for 1 side effect which is starting to get a little werid and that is a greatly increased libido and sexual drive etc.. I am male i dont know if its testosterone increase or what which has been shown with naltrexone but its just *too* much. I cant stop thinking about it etc. I have not felt like this since i was 16 or 17! Otherwise no major difference but my fibromyalgia pain is gone and i can defintely feel my immune system fighting differently regarding CFS. I keep getting occasional colds/fevers, which is good for me cause i know im fighting off stuff - i never had that before. It sort of feels healthy. Guest guest
I posted another post but looks like it isn't coming thru. Anyhow, a few weeks ago me and some other women posted that our libido was higher on LDN so yes but I never saw any men post about it. Guess they are keeping it to theirselves. Good side affect! Are you still taking the day dose? Guest guest
Dear J, Thanks for posting. I have suffered terribly from ME/CFIDS/FMS and am awaiting my supply of Revia to arrive soon. Since you are taking it for basically the same conditions, your remarks and progress are encouraging to me. Sorry I can't offer any help on the other. All the research I've done on adrenals suggests that when your adrenal function improves, your libido does as well.
