It truly can attack any joint you have - my neck was one of the first places

that really hurt. And with the back, one of the things that can happen is

that your ribs (costochondritis) can have the inflammation and it can be the

ribs in your back OR your spine that is affected.

My neck bothers me a lot. Also-the reason your doctor may check for a hump in

your neck is because of prednisone-most likely. A friend of mine developed

one as a result of high doses of pred.
